VIDEO: Chris Webby Talks Homegrown EP, ‘Chemically Imbalanced’ LP + More


Chris Webby sits down with the L.A. Leakers for an exclusive interview.  The Connecticut rapper kicks things off by sharing some of his early musical influences and favorite Hip Hop acts as a kid and breaks down the motivation behind his upcoming Homegrown EP.  In fact, Webby explains that the 8-track project is catered more towards potential new fans who aren’t entirely familiar with his music.  The rapper also reveals that his upcoming LP will be titled, Chemically Imbalanced, after the title track produced by Scott Storch.  Webby gets into details behind working with new producers like Harry Fraud, signing with E1 Music, the current state of Hip Hop and gives advice to aspiring artists.

The L.A. Leakers drop off a new remix to Jay 305’s catchy club song, “Youzza Flip,” featuring Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and YG.  The star studded rendition of the popular jam is set to be showcased on the L.A. Leakers forthcoming The 2014 Draft Picks mixtape which is due out in January.  Showing a lot of promise throughout the year, Jay 305 earns his new remix a position on the compilation project which will highlight the talents of a number of aspiring artists that listeners should be aware of.

The L.A. Leakers’ very own Justin Credible took the stage to DJ and party the night away with B.O.B. and Taylor Gang artist Ty Dolla $ign.  The artists performed to the crowd and turned the energy up as Credible held it down on the turntables for the evening.  Take a look at the short recap video courtesy of L.A.
