Kendrick Lamar recently hit up New York’s Roseland Ballroom to deliver two back to back classic performances.  However, the second performance came with an added special surprise from 50 Cent and A$AP Rocky.  Check out the video to see some of the highlights from the evening from BlowHipHop TV.  I’d like to point out this was the first time 50 and Kendrick performed lived “We Up”.

Kendrick Lamar and TDE hit the road recently and took their act over seas.  In this first episode, the West Coast native takes over Bristol.  It’s crazy to see someone from my area have such an effect on complete strangers on the other side of the world.  He’s got these people across the ocean trying to emulate and represent this West lifestyle.  The visuals on this are pretty dope as well.  Nice camera work with some dope behind the scenes and stage footage.

Considered by many as a modern day classic rap album, Good Kid M.a.a.d. City opens up with the intro track entitled “Sherane”.  This particular track is a favorite of mine off the album and being the first record it pulls you in and sets up Kendrick’s story appropriately.  Take a look at the video below to see an in depth look by producers Tha Bizness on how the beat was actually constructed.  All we need now is an official instrumental to be released to vibe out to.

What’s going on everyone?  Let’s pick up where I left off.  It’s been a few weeks since I came through and updated my site.  Truthfully speaking, as a recent graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills and working during a busy holiday season, time sort of just slips away.  Still, the dust has settled and after a big year I couldn’t think of any other appropriate way to end the year right than with TDE front man Kendrick Lamar.  The HiiiPower advocate took the stage shortly after 11:00pm and came out to a hyped crowd that has been waiting two to three hours.  The festive vibes were in the air as the packed house raised their glasses and rapped along with Kendrick as he proceeded to perform hits old and new.  Check out the video footage above to see part one of his full set and I look forward to what 2013 has to offer and reppin’ that ItsTheDaily!
