Music’s Big Sean as the Detroit native breaks down in 60 seconds how he was able to make it in the music industry.  Opening things up by crediting his mother’s musical favorites as his early influences, the rapper explains how he use to attend a radio show every Friday and battle rap for the chance to showcase his skills on air.  By chance, Sean gives viewers insight on how he was able to get the opportunity to freestyle for Kanye after he made a visit to the radio station.

Odd Future’s second annual carnival went down last night and fans in attendance were treated to a special surprise performance from none other than Kanye West.  The G.O.O.D. Music artist was introduced to the stage by Tyler and performed “New Slaves” and his classic Late Registration cut, “Late.”  Before ushering Yeezus to the stage, the Los Angeles bred artist explained to the crowd that he personally asked Ye to join him and to perform one of his all time favorite songs.  Check out Tyler as he plays hype man alongside Kanye and recites the lyrics to “Late.”

Troy Ave sits down for the latest episode of Juan Epstein with Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg.  Take a look as Harry Powder gets into detail behind the inspiration for his new album including the conscious decision to include more than drug raps.  As the conversation continued, Ave speaks on his dislike for wasting money at the strip clubs and reveals that he has plans to strictly put on his BSB crew and showcase their individual skills.  Interestingly enough, Troy gives listeners insight into why he considers Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West weirdos.  An interesting point the rapper also brought up is that today’s hip hop listeners seem to celebrate the drugs users rather than the drug dealer anymore.

Music emcee Pusha T shares his thoughts on some of the changes with Hip Hop fashion as well as Kanye West’s infamous on-stage skirt.  Clarifying West’s attire was actually a kilt used during his tour run with JAY Z for Watch The Throne, P admits to DJ Vlad that it’s something he would never choose to wear personally.  In fact, the Virginia Beach native shares his frustration with fans that confused his high end shorts for a skirt in the past.

Funk Volume artist, Hopsin, links up with Hard Knock TV for an intimate interview.  Hopsin addresses his recent “Hop Is Back” song and music video which found the artist venting a lot of steam and explained that he decided to go hard on the track because of the doubt he was getting from fans thinking he went soft.  The rapper also clarifies that he began the track in the early part of 2013 and eventually went back to include his verse that includes his diss towards Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West months later.  As the lengthy conversation continued, Hopsin decided to open up and admitted to viewers that he honestly doesn’t know who he is anymore.  Also, Hopsin touches on struggling with fame, personal issues and the existence of God.
