VIDEO: Vinny Cha$e – Need That

New York rapper Vinny Cha$e delivers a new music video for “Need That” off his upcoming Kings Land mixtape dropping on October 1.  Taking to the streets of his neighborhood, Cha$e throws a block party with lobster and all as the young MC performs to the camera over the track’s pounding bass courtesy of producer Young Chop.  Vinny also takes the opportunity to throw a jab in the direction of West Coast MC Kendrick Lamar.  In the final scene of the video, Cha$e and company throw a blow up doll decked out in a Los Angeles fitted cap out the car wearing a sign that reads “King Of New York.”

Here’s another dope cut off the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto 5 with “R. Cali” courtesy of A$AP Rocky.  Listen as Rocky drops rhymes on the West Coast inspired track about hustling in the streets and putting in work in the fictional county of San Andreas.  Grand Theft Auto 5 pulled in more than $1 billion in just three days.

BBC and Zane Low release part one of their intimate interview with rap star Kanye West.  Watch as Yeezy shares his personal philosophy on life and pursuing goals, speaks on  the uniqueness that Yeezus and 808’s and Heartbreaks share and argues that My Dark Beautiful Twisted Fantasy could be considered a perfect album.  Kanye also shares the inspiration behind his desire to create music organically and against the common formats practiced throughout the music industry.  Before the conclusion of the part one, the G.O.O.D. Music leader discusses Rick Rubin, explains that Yeezus is what frustration sounds like and aggressively tells Lowe that Rap is the new Rock before claiming he’s the biggest of them all.
