Hosted by DJ Scream and Boss Lady, Maybach Music Group was heavy in the building on satellite radio station Hip Hop Nation for the label’s Self Made 3 album release event.  In fact, check out the footage below to see young Philly native Meek Mill freestyle off the top of the dome for eight minutes live on the air for fans.  Label mate Rockie Fresh at one point attempted to jump in and give Meek a hand but the rising star was feeling the moment and couldn’t help himself from dropping bars.

DJ Enuff and the That’s Enuff Crew got the opportunity to  sit in on Meek Mill’s recent studio session for Dreamchasers 3 and were treated to an exclusive track.  Titled “Kendrick You Next,” the unreleased freestyle showcases Meek lyrically going in over a number of instrumentals and setting his aim on Cassidy with a quick warning shot at Kendrick Lamar followed at the end.

Papoose drops a new music video for his “Dreams and Nightmares Freestyle” which finds the New York MC demonstrating his lyrical abilities.  Pap borrows Meek Mill’s instrumental and has his way with it as he impressively switches up his flow throughout the track and delivers a solid remix of his own.  Check out Papoose’s latest effort below.

Crooked I is the latest artist to be featured on SKEE Live’s “Off The Top” segment which takes a different act every week and showcases an original music video.  In episode three, the Long Beach native steps up to the microphone decked out in Raiders gear and proceeds to drop memorable bar after bar.  Check out how it all went down in the video below and be sure to tune into AXS TV every Tuesday at 7 p.m. (PST) and 10 p.m. (EST).

The Mad Rapper drops off a decent Kendrick Lamar response with a “Control” freestyle of his own.  The new freestyle showcases D-Dot’s ability to be direct and to the point but at the same time keeping it lighthearted and funny.  It was to be expected that everyone was going to throw some shit out there just to see if it sticks but why not right? Looks like The Mad Rapper still has it.

Cassidy jacks the instrumental to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” and decides to try his hand at an standout response.  The Philly native has always been synonymous with lyrical wordplay so you better believe Cas is dropping a few gems here and there.  As the “Control” responses continue to flood in well try and keep you up-to-date with the one’s actually worth your time.  Let’s just say the flood gates have been opened and every artist I’m sure is looking to capitalize on an extra 15 minutes.

Papoose continues on the road to a comeback and lets go of a new freestyle over Drake’s “Versace”.  Clearly packed with subliminal’s aimed at the YMCMB artist, Pap drops some lyrics expressing his disgust for commercial rappers and even throws in some socio-political gems to try and enlighten listeners.  Before stepping away from the mic, Pap reminds fans that Remy will be released in 2014 and reveals that he’s going to give her a baby when she comes home.
