Drake’s Would You Like a Tour? kicked off last in Pittsburgh and the Canadian rapper decided to surprise crowd-goers by bringing out Taylor Gang head honcho Wiz Khalifa.  The Pittsburgh native opened up his short set with his crossover hit “Black & Yellow” featured off his Rolling Papers LP.  Take a look as the sold out venue full of fans raps along with Khalifa and goes crazy.

Drake and company recently made a stop at the ALIFE store in New York and decided to surprise everyone with a performance of his new album Nothing Was The Same.  The album release event also showcased the skills of  Travis $cott and Raekwon who both were brought out by Drizzy to perform. VIDEO: Drake Denied Entry Into Heat Locker Room

Following game seven of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat, rapper Drizzy Drake attempted to make his way with his entourage into Miami’s locker room to celebrate and congratulate Lebron James but was denied access.  From what can be seen in the short clip, a representative for the team or venue security stopped Drake and company at the entrance doors and justified the decision by explaining to the rapper only media was to be permitted.

Drake’s response? Clearly bothered, the YMCMB artist responded back by stating, “I am media”.  I see what you did there Drake.  He knows what the man meant but he chose to respond with the clever double entendre wordplay.  Check out the diss heard throughout all the land go down in the clip above.

Drake releases a new song “The Motion” featuring singer Sampha who also assists with the production credits along with 40.  With the launch of his new OVOsound website, Drizzy finally announces his Nothing Was The Same LP with a release date for September 17 and also drops four new promotional tracks.  Take a listen to “The Motion” below which highlights Drake’s singing and rapping skills alongside the smooth sounds of Sampha.

jiggadrizzyIt looks like Jigga man and Drizzy recently linked up and combined powers for a studio session while Drake was in Manhattan shooting his cameo in the upcoming film Anchorman 2.  Lenny S. shared this photo but didn’t specify what project exactly fans can hope to hear the tunes they did on.
