Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar link up for a new Beats By Dre commercial to promote the company’s new wireless pill designed speaker just in time for the holidays. Check out Lamar and the West Coast legend as they work hard in the studio on a new track. There’s also a scene where Lamar shows off the song to some friends at the local barbershop before heading back to the studio with Dre to finish up what they started.
A new Beats By Dre commercial was premiered tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards for Eminem’s upcoming Marshall Mathers LP 2. According to the announcement, the new album will be available November 5 and it also boasts credits from JAY Z and Rick Rubin as executive producers. Fans also get a taste of things to come as the short clip showcases a teaser of Eminem’s new single “Bezerk” which will be released in its entirety this Tuesday.
Trae The Truth sits down with Beats By Dre (Beats TV) and talks about one of his first experiences with performing overseas with Wiz Khalifa. The Houston rapper also talks about the importance of the internet to his career after getting banned from radio.
What’s going on everyone? Let’s pick up where I left off. It’s been a few weeks since I came through and updated my site. Truthfully speaking, as a recent graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills and working during a busy holiday season, time sort of just slips away. Still, the dust has settled and after a big year I couldn’t think of any other appropriate way to end the year right than with TDE front man Kendrick Lamar. The HiiiPower advocate took the stage shortly after 11:00pm and came out to a hyped crowd that has been waiting two to three hours. The festive vibes were in the air as the packed house raised their glasses and rapped along with Kendrick as he proceeded to perform hits old and new.
