JJ Doom – Bookhead
Hip Hop emcee DOOM and Jneiro Jarel drop the music video for “Bookhead” which will be featured on the upcoming collaborative project JJ Doom. The video starts off with DOOM sporting his familiar mask but after entering a convenient store he ends up snagging a reflective security mirror and uses it to cover up his face. The villain then makes his way to a local library where he looks through a few books including a copy of Websters Dictionary of Synonyms where one can only assume he’s brushing up on his reading to compliment his lyrical wordplay. Producer Jneiro Jarel takes control on the production end and provides a dope sound with a dark vibe that fits DOOM’s style appropriately. It’s great to see King Geedorah still at it.
AUDIO: AZ – Oil Money Freestyle
Sosa is back at it with “Oil Money Gang Freestyle”. The rapper decides to go in over Jadakiss and Rick Ross’ new “Oil Money Gang” single and drop his own tales of cash, drugs, and hustling over the smooth J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League instrumental. Ski Beatz sits down with LRG for their Off The Record series and talks about his early influences which made him pursue his dreams in Hip-Hop. Interestingly enough, Ski shares that he was originally a part of a group called Original Flavor and rapped before deciding to put the mic down and stick the production side after being introduced and hearing Jay-Z rap. The producer recalls impressing DJ Clark Kent which eventually ended up opening up the door of opportunity for Ski and allowing him to grow creatively and professional in the music industry.
