Legendary DJ Tony Touch visits Fuse for an interview and discusses his recent mixtape release Piece Maker 3: Return of The 50 MC’s.  Tony gives insight into the history behind his classic Power Cypha: 50 MC’s mixtape and how he went about including 50 artists onto one project.  Touch also reveals that his newest release is actually his 100th mixtape and that it also serves as the closer to his Piece Maker trilogy.  With Eminem making an appearance on Piece Maker 3 with “Symphony In H”, Tony shares how he went about acquiring the feature from the elusive MC and also points out that he included short vocal samples throughout the mixtape from artists who’ve passed on like ODB, Big Pun and Guru to name a few.  Before calling it a wrap, Tony Touch previews three songs off the project with “B.A.R.S” from The Lox, “World Premier” from Liknuts and “V.I.P.” from Too $hort featuring Kurupt and Xzibit.

A native of Oakland, Calif. and member of the group The Team, Bay Area rapper Clyde Carson gives insight into his humble beginnings in Hip Hop and what he’s working hard to accomplish. Fresh off the recent success of his hit single “Slow Down” featuring The Team, Carson explains how he began making music around 2001-2002 and eventually found his way to New York where he learned a lot about the business. Inspired by the movement and sound of the Bay Area, Clyde eventually found his way back home to Oakland and stresses that it’s important to keep the sound of his home turf relevant within his music. The former Blackwall Street signee also reassures fans they can expect new music from The Team with their new collaborative 3 Kings mixtape which is set to drop sometime later this year.

Jay-Z who is currently promoting his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, stopped by Hot 97 for a one-on-one interview with the lovely Angie Martinez.  In this first clip above, Hov opens things up by revealing that he prefers to stay off social media platforms and enforces a certain code of ethics in his chosen circle, however, he admits to giving Lenny S. the exclusive green light to post what he desires.  Jay also opens up about his memorable Q&A session with fans on Twitter, the Brooklyn Nets, and tells Angie he no longer needs money.

In part two of Hot 97’s exclusive interview with Jay-Z and Angie Martinez, Hov gives his opinion on the growing public backlash towards Miley Cyrus and the recent album releases from J. Cole, Wale and Kanye West.  Jigga man also praises Kanye’s latest effort with Yeezus and explains why he feels the album is artistic and great for hip hop.  Continuing with the interview, Jay enlightens Angie to the fact that Beyonce has a vault of hit records they enjoy listening to privately and also shares his experience with attending President Barack Obama’s inauguration which apparently ended up getting ratchet.

Ace also shares with listeners some of the features they can look forward to hearing on his upcoming Trials & Tribulations LP which is set to release on July 16. Hood points out he wanted to keep his story personal and tell it the best way he knows so he enlisted the help of only a select few such as Betty Wright, Anthony Hamilton and Chris Brown. With the objective being to deliver music that can stand the test of time, Ace explains to Skee that fans can expect new music with plenty of substance.

Jadakiss catches up with Fuse and sits down for an interview to give the fans details on what he’s been busy working on.  The Lox rapper kicks things off with giving the rundown behind his recent single “Big Boy Dialogue” featuring The-Dream off his new album Top 5 Dead Or Alive.  Produced by Phonix Beats, Jada points out he wanted to give the fans a taste of something that was different from what they’d normally hear on the radio or at the clubs.

As the discussion continues, Jada gives up the potential release date for his album which fans could see sometime this October and shares his creative direction for the project’s universal appeal.  Jada also touches on some of the features hes recruited for Top 5 Dead Or Alive and gives up the list for his personal top five dead or alive MC’s.  Kiss also reassures fans The Lox’s new album is more than halfway done and will sport production credits from the likes of Swizz Beats, DJ Khaled, and Jahlil Beats to name a few.
