A$AP Ferg delivers a new track off his anticipated Trap Lord LP with “Hood Pope”.  The song showcases Ferg’s signature choppy and sped up flow over a smooth beat that takes fans for a slow ride while the A$AP Mob member drops some haunting crooning and kicks rhymes about fearing death from his enemies, demons and proclaiming himself the trap lord.  Produced by VeryRvre, the mellow cut is also packed with plenty of reflective bars and religious references as Fergenstein attempts to make sense of his situation.  Trap Lord hits shelves on August 20.

As fans approach a much needed weekend, Action Bronson generously offers up a brand new track titled “Water Sports” featuring Big Body Res and sporting production from Harry Fraud.  The track is backed by a familiar flute sample you’ve probably heard one of your favorite rappers go in over such as Curren$y but not like the way Bronson does it.  The Queens native effortlessly goes to work while Bid Body Res throws out some comments over the smooth production that sounds like a Saaab Stories extra.

After a series of subliminal disses seemingly directed toward fellow Philly rapper Gillie Da Kid, it would appear that Meek Mill’s choice words have initiated another lyrical beef. After catching wind of the MMG artist’s comments via his twitter account, Gille officially has responded with a full out diss track titled “King of Philly” where he calls into question Meek’s street credibility and proclaims himself the king of Philadelphia.

Trina steps back into the spotlight with her latest single, “Ass Fat”, which will be featured on the Miami native’s upcoming project apparently releasing under French Montana’s Coke Boys imprint.  The new bouncy club anthem is an ode to Trina’s voluptuous assets and finds the female MC dropping braggadocios rhymes alongside Meek who spits a hook breaking down his physical preference for women.

AUDIO: Chief Keef – “I Ain’t Done Turnin’ Up” & “Go To Jail”

Chief Keef delivers a new leak off his upcoming Almighty Sosa mixtape titled “I Ain’t Done Turnin’ Up”.  The upbeat track finds the young rapper in his usual auto-tuned pocket trying to keep the energy up and during the hook portion of the song repeating “I ain’t done turnin’ up bitch”.

On Keef’s second offering off Almighty Sosa, “Go To Jail”, the 17-year-old rapper attempts to stay on beat with his lazy overly auto-tuned flow and talks about trying to distance himself from his drug dealing past.

VH1’s Love & Hip Hop reality TV star consequence drops off a new ConsTV remix of Kanye West’s “Black Skinheads”.  The former G.O.O.D. Music signee delivers a verse of his own over West’s new single which is featured on his recently released Yeezus album.  An interesting fact to point out, just before the minute mark Cons drops a line claiming that him and Kanye have patched up their relationship and are “back rockin'”. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what that’s all about.

AUDIO: Dom Kennedy – Erica Pt. 1

Leimert Park native Dom Kennedy finally liberates some new music for the fans with “Erica Pt. 1”.  Remaining relatively lowkey and under-the-radar as of late, the west coast MC drops some player like flows over some light keys and bouncy bass about a “cute, brown skin” named Erica from Midtown, Manhattan.  No word if this will show up on Kennedy’s forthcoming project, Get Home Safety, but lets just cross our fingers and hope we at least get the sequel to this soon.
