YG is back again with another music video for “You Betta Kno” featuring CTE head honcho Young Jeezy.  The Compton native takes Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” instrumental out for a ride in the Phantom and brings Jeezy along as the two head to the studio.  “You Betta Kno” will be featured on the new CTE compilation mixtape titled Boss Yo Life Up Gang which is set to release later today.  After linking up with CTE and Young Jeezy, it’s evident that YG has been keeping himself busy and staying productive.

The world’s of France and the Bronx collide as DJ Cut Killer and New York MC The Kid Daytona drop a new collaborative music video for “Classic Shit.”  The black and white visual sports a number of ’90s French Hip Hop instrumentals that Cut Killer spins while Daytona drops impressive rhymes.  “Classic Shit” also serves a collaboration with French street wear clothing company Space Monkeys.  Be on the look out for The Kid Daytona’s Savoir Faire which is set to release this fall.

Dizzy Wright drops a new music video for “The Flavor” featuring SwizZz off his forthcoming and anticipated The Golden Age mixtape.  Wright’s video showcases some pretty cool camera work and highlights the Las Vegas natives lyrical abilities as he claims his position in Hip Hop and promises fans he’s bringing the flavor.  SwizZz does his thing and spits a standout verse alongside Dizzy as the duo back up their braggadocios rhymes with undeniable skill.  The Golden Age mixtape drops August 19.

G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean releases a new promotional video that sports the Detroit native narrating and breaking down his track list for his upcoming Hall Of Fame LP.  Sean goes over the 15-track project one by and gives listeners insight behind how the songs came together while vintage looking visuals of a space shuttle preparing for lift off plays the background.  Hall Of Fame will be in stores August 27.

Future paid a visit to The Angie Martinez Show on HOT 97 radio and opened up on a number of topics.  Future shares his thoughts on being successful as a writer and is reluctant to share on-the-air some of the more expensive purchases he’s made in the past in order to avoid any potential complications with his child support.  The auto-tuned enthusiast also makes it clear to Angie that singer Ciara is “the one” for him.  Future also reveals to Angie that he’s been in the studio with Pharrell and currently is sitting on three collaborative songs he’s looking to sell.

Big Sean sent the internet into a frenzy after debuting a new track titled “Control” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica.  Though every MC delivered their respective verse, Lamar definitely stole the show after crowning himself the king of New York and aiming his sights on several big name artists such as J. Cole, Drake, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky and more.  At one point in the song the Compton native raps, “I’m usually homeboys with the same n*ggas I’m rhyming with/But this is Hip Hop and them n*ggas should know what time it is.”  Though Lamar’s lyrics only appear to be competitively driven, don’t be surprised if one of the rappers referenced in the lyrical assault capitalizes on the opportunity to go bar for bar with the Hip Hop star.

Twitter has been blowing up since Funkmaster Flex premiered the new track.  Big Sean also provided some insight behind the song when he clarified that due to sample clearing issues, “Control” was unable to make the final track list on Hall Of Fame and subsequently was leaked for our listening pleasure.  As if the G.O.O.D. Music rapper’s latest offering couldn’t get any better, Jay Electronica decides to show-up and deliver a memorable verse.  Take a listen to what all the fuss is about below.

JAY Z and Dame Dash finally put their differences aside and reconciled earlier this week at a celebration in New York that Dash only described via his instagram as “Chaka’s party.”  After the release of the release of Magna Carta…Holy Grail, a short Instagram video of Dame vibing out to Jay’s latest work and praising it, only reignited questions for Jigga as he made his radio promotional runs.  After being outspoken and reassuring listeners that he would always have love for Dame, it almost felt like the former business associates were on the brink of squashing past issues.  The moment finally came to pass as the two embraced one another and took some photos to document the special occasion.  The second photo below comes to you courtesy of Shaheem Reid.
