Tech N9ne unleashes his latest music video for the rock inspired track “Hiccup.”  The energy packed visual finds the Strange Music rapper performing to the camera out on a runway and plane hanger while clips of a robbery at a convenience store plays out in reverse.  Make sure to stick it out for the surprise ending which puts everything in perspective.  “Hiccup” is featured on Tech N9ne’s new Therapy EP which released earlier this month.

HotNewHipHop catches up with Tech N9ne backstage on the set of SKEE Live.  The Kansas City rapper speaks on his first time performing on television and his long-time motivation to infuse elements of Rock and Hip Hop together in his sound.  Tech opens up to the camera about who he would like to collaborate with in the future and decides to name drop Eminem and Kanye West as two artists who are high on his list.  Tech N9ne also explained to viewers that his signature face paint is in honor of his deceased friend, Brian Dennis, who was an important figure in getting his movement off the ground and more.

Kansas City’s Tech N9ne made his way to AXS TV for an exclusive interview on episode 16 of SKEE Live.  The rapper shared with viewers his love for the horror film genre and revealed to DJ Skee that, Halloween 2, is in fact his favorite scary movie of all time.  The witty host took the opportunity to try and give the rapper a scare with a secret extra who slowly crept up behind Tech in a full-on Michael Myers costume.  As the conversation between the two entrepreneurs continued, Tech spoke on his early collaborations with the likes of JAY Z and Eminem along with a few others and revealed that DJ Skee was responsible for giving him the opportunity to make his television debut.  TDE and Jay Rock were also topics of discussion as Tech N9ne explained how he had a major role in getting Jay Rock out of his contract with Warner Brothers which ultimately allowed the indie label to flourish and develop talents like Kendrick Lamar.  Check out Tech as he spoke on his long-time working relationship with the Compton native and said his goodbyes to his fans with his signature Tech N9ne gun salute.

hopsin2Hopsin who recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Hard Knock TV, tossed viewers a heads up when he mentioned that he was sitting on a collaborative joint with Tecn N9ne that was set to be featured on his upcoming Knock Madness project.  As the young rapper gears up to release his latest offering on November 26, Hopsin decides to liberate the track and give fans a taste of what they can expect to hear.  “Rip You Heart Out” finds both emcees showing off some tongue twisting lyricism as they demolish a menacing instrumental.

Just before Halloween, Tech N9ne decided to put on a show for fans in his hometown of Kansas City, MO and during his live set the Strange Music artist was laced with a special gift.  With the music stopping in the middle of his performance, Tech was suddenly greeted by Travis and Nick Cannon on stage with a gold plaque for “Carbou Lou.”  Take a look as cameras were rolling to capture the special moment as it went down in front of a packed venue full of fans.
