Asher Roth drops by Snoop’s GGN show to smoke one and chop it up for a Q&A session with the boss dogg.  Roth opens things up by professing his love for the city of Philadelphia and San Francisco and reveals that he’s been friends with Justin Bieber since he was 13 years old.  Asher goes on to explain that he has original recordings of Justin gettin’ his rappin’ on and speaks highly of the young star’s talents.  Big Snoop and Asher also discuss the around-the-clock work ethic that revolves around Hip Hop after Roth shares that he enjoys getting as much Z’s in as he can.  Before heading out, Asher also explains why McDonalds’ Big Mac is his favorite burger of all time and how many times he thinks about sex daily.  Catch the comical and lighthearted interview below.

Artist and producer, Tito Rodriguez, drops a new song and animated visual for “No Regrets” off his forthcoming LP The Message.  The emotional track tackles the concept of teenage pregnancy and the strain that can be left on a family as a result of it. Rodriguez also addresses the importance of a father figure in a child’s life and overall proposes the question if you could go back and fix past mistakes would you do so or simply choose to live with regret?

Reign drops his new music video for “We Them Niggas” featuring A$AP Rocky.  Produced by Pro Logic, the Toronto native delivers the first look of what’s to come off his forthcoming mixtape, Dear America, which originally was suppose to release on July 4.  Directed by Footage, the visual is like night and day as P. As fans anxiously wait for the release of Chevy Woods’ new Gangland 2, the Taylor Gang member delivers a new music video for the intro off his Gangsta Grillz mixtape with “G2” featuring DJ Drama.  Produced by RMB Justize, the street cut gives the fans a taste of what they can expect to hear as Chevy goes in over some pounding drums and spits that slick gutter talk.  The visual keeps it simple with Chevy and company packed in a hallway while sippin’ gin and smoking great.  Look out for a cameo as well from in-house producer Sledgren up front who appears to be all sorts of wasted and having a good time.

Jay-Z who is currently promoting his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, stopped by Hot 97 for a one-on-one interview with the lovely Angie Martinez.  In this first clip above, Hov opens things up by revealing that he prefers to stay off social media platforms and enforces a certain code of ethics in his chosen circle, however, he admits to giving Lenny S. the exclusive green light to post what he desires.  Jay also opens up about his memorable Q&A session with fans on Twitter, the Brooklyn Nets, and tells Angie he no longer needs money.

In part two of Hot 97’s exclusive interview with Jay-Z and Angie Martinez, Hov gives his opinion on the growing public backlash towards Miley Cyrus and the recent album releases from J. Cole, Wale and Kanye West.  Jigga man also praises Kanye’s latest effort with Yeezus and explains why he feels the album is artistic and great for hip hop.  Continuing with the interview, Jay enlightens Angie to the fact that Beyonce has a vault of hit records they enjoy listening to privately and also shares his experience with attending President Barack Obama’s inauguration which apparently ended up getting ratchet.
