Can’t forget DJ Quik’s performance from Rock The Bells 2012 in San Bernardino.  Though the sun was scorching the crowd was definitely hyped and feeling the tunes when Quik and Suga Free came out.

VIDEO: Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) & Mannie Fresh in the studio

This recording session spontaneously came about after a Big K.R.I.T. show where both rappers attended.  In the clip you can see the moment where Mannie & Mos linked up and took it to the studio that very night.  The track they are working on together in the clip is “OMFGOD”.  I’m already excited to see what comes about from this.

In this clip Spitta sits down with Soul Culture to talk about his favorite verse from “Breakfast”.  It’s interesting to hear the background story about how the track came together organically with Mos Def. Or should I say Yasiin Bey? 

If you haven’t heard “Breakfast” check out the video below.  I remember when they dropped this like it was only yesterday.  It would be cool to see Spitta get back in the mix with Dame and Ski and more Creative Control videos. Enjoy.
