The artwork for the track also sports a well recognized photo of former LAPD officer Christopher Doner who declared war on law enforcement a few months ago, with hints of familiar characteristics from Ab-Soul such as his signature glasses and wild hair. During Doner’s rampage against police, the TDE artist made it public knowledge that he was in support of Doner’s efforts and believed his infamous manifesto which attempted to justify his questionable actions. Produced by Willie B, “Christopher DRONEr” showcases Soulo’s socially conscious subject matter and attempts to enlighten listeners by encouraging them to think for themselves and not to simply behave as mindless drones. Equipped with an aggressive delivery, Ab-Soul drops bars over a military-like track packed with slappin’ drums and ominous bells.

Philadelphia lyricist Cyssero releases a new diss track titled “One Shot Kill” aimed at Meek Mill and joins Gillie Da Kid on the growing list of active beefs for the young MMG rapper. Cyssero wastes no time in calling Meek’s character into question as well as his street credentials. Overall, Cyssero drops bars that point to the idea that Meek has changed since signing with MMG. “One Shot Kill” never slows up and showcases Cyssero’s aggressive and effortless flow for nearly seven minutes.

MMG boss and Miami native Rick Ross releases a new single with “I Wonder Why”. It isn’t clear just yet if this end up on Self Made Vol. 3 dropping September 17 or his forthcoming Mastermind album. Nevertheless, the boss goes to work over some hard hitting bass and haunting synth work provided by Beat Billionaire. Though Ross raps tales of overcoming street life and ending up a legitimate business man, the boss’ flow comes off a bit paranoid and cautious of circumstances that could potentially end his reign or his life. Ricky also goes out of his way to include references to Trayvon Martin and Miami’s controversial stand-your-ground law.

Khaled’s new radio smash features Nicki Minaj along with Future and Rick Ross. Funk also takes the opportunity to ask Nicki about her recent instagram video she posted which briefly showcased her twerking skills while taking a dip in her pool. Minaj also shares with fans the motivation behind all her hard work and says that Drake is her baby while Lil Wayne means the world to her.

Though Sean was only generous enough to preview the song’s hook and first verse, it was definitely enough to intrigue fans everywhere to want to hear it in full.
