Here’s a new music video from Talib Kweli for “Hamster Wheel” which is featured on the rapper’s latest album Prisoner of Conscious. The Slick & Sam directed visual finds the rapper out on the block in Brooklyn as he kicks rhymes about one woman’s struggle to make ends meet. Watch as things play out in front of Kweli’s eyes as the woman’s luck runs out and finally has a run-in with authorities over some illegal activity.
Talib Kweli is back and delivers a new music video today for his smooth song “Turnt Up” featured on his latest album Prisoner of Conscious. Produced by Trend of League of Starz, Kweli goes in over the sensual instrumental which boasts a hypnotizing sample. Directed by Kweli and Kenzi Sonoda, the visual finds Talib living the lavish life out in Tokyo, Japan with plenty of attractive women as they throw back some shots and party the night away at different locations.

The Brooklyn MC effortlessly drops lyrical bombs over the deep and introspective rhymes while Oh No takes lead on the production and includes some soft violins to serenade listeners with. The project is set to be released on May 7th and will have some features to look out for include Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y, Melanie Fiona, and Miguel.
