Jet Life artist Fiend is back with a new freestyle titled “Guess Who’s Back.” The track finds the rapper effortlessly dropping weed and hustler inspired bars over Scarface’s classic “Guess Who’s Back” instrumental. New Orleans native Curren$y delivers a new project wit the Red Eye Mixtape. Never one to travel alone, Spitta brings along the Jet Life crew as the project features original songs from the likes of Corner Boy P, Fiend, Juvenile, Cardo, Young Roddy and Monster Beatz producer Deelow. The 13-track compilation is a collaborative release with giant BitTorrent and also comes equipped with plenty of promotional extras like a coupon for free lighters, tour posters, the chance to win an ultimate Jet Life Experience and an original video production titled “Chef Menteur” that’s reminiscent of an episode of the vlog series Jernts With Spitta. Directed by David Parks, Jet Life artist Fiend also known as International Jones, offers a new visual for the infectious and mellow track titled “California Mornings”. King Thelonious handles the smooth production as Fiend and his lovely co-star kick back, roll up some weed and even get a game of pool in. It isn’t clear just yet what forthcoming project Fiend’s ode to California and his love interest will land on but the new loosie is undeniably catchy and worthy of a view so check out the video below.
Stepping outside of his usual relaxed and smooth baritone flow, Jet Life artist Fiend turns up the energy on his latest track “On My Job”. Produced by RJ2, International Jones also brings along Juvenile along for a new joint that finds Fiend dropping some aggressive bars and pointing out that he handles his business. Always one to be an innovator, Jet Life mastermind Curren$y and Jet Life International announced today that there next release will be a collaborative effort with BitTorrent. The big news doesn’t really come too much as a surprise as Curren$y has always embraced and utilized the internet as a means to release past projects and connect directly with his fan base. According to AllHipHop.com, the new Jet Life partnership will consist of a “Jet Life BitTorrent Bundle” which will contain not only new mixtape music but “HD video content, interactive tour promotional materials, an interactive Jet Life Apparel catalog, and exclusive contest opportunities.” It was also recently announced that Jet Life artists Corner Boy P, Fiend and Young Roddy will be hitting the road once again for “The Red Eye Tour” which will take off on August 26.
