He may still be locked up behind bars but New York MC Fat Joe keeps the momentum going for his Darkside III mixtape with a new music video for “MGM.” Directed by Eif Rivera, the black and white visual finds Joe performing to the camera throughout different locations in his city and pushin’ in the Maserati with a fine woman in the passenger seat.
Before turning himself in today to begin his four month sentence at Miami’s Federal Detention Center for tax evasion, the New York rapper drops off a parting gift with his Darkside III mixtape. Fat Joe leaks a new cut titled “Your Honor” off his upcoming Darkside III mixtape. Produced by DJ Premier, the New York MC gets reacquainted with his gritty roots and shows off his lyrical skills. The sample based song finds Joe dropping introspective bars about his life and even addressing the judge who recently sentenced the rapper to four months in prison for tax evasion. Action Bronson also showcases a verse on the song which finds the Queens native fitting right in on Premo’s production.
