Well I don’t know how this sort of thing happened but it did…it looks like this somehow slipped right past me. I’m sure there’s a good explanation I just can’t think of one right now to share with you all. Better late than never, I bring you Blu & Madlib’s official video for “Burgundy Whips” which has to be my favorite if not in my top favorite three songs from this guy. MED & Blu – Burgundy Whip (Prod. Madlib)
Alright, this is a must have track for any Blu fan. For those of you who follow his music you’ll know the track has been featured on UCLA which was a collaborative project with producer Madlib. This definitely was the stand out track for me when I first took a listen along with “Play with Love”. Apparently the good news is that Stones Throw is taking this record along with eight others from Blu and MED and releasing an official project entitled The Burgundy EP. Look for the project to drop in MP3 format on February 19.
