Talib Kweli is back and delivers a new music video today for his smooth song “Turnt Up” featured on his latest album Prisoner of Conscious. Produced by Trend of League of Starz, Kweli goes in over the sensual instrumental which boasts a hypnotizing sample. Directed by Kweli and Kenzi Sonoda, the visual finds Talib living the lavish life out in Tokyo, Japan with plenty of attractive women as they throw back some shots and party the night away at different locations.
The shenanigans, weed smoke, rowdy crowd, and turnt-upness (that’s not really a word though) continues on the road for Juicy J and company. Take a look at part five in the web series for Juicy’s on the road chronicles.
Well ladies and gentleman it is now 4/20! I know, you’re excited right? I’ve been waiting for Chris Webby’s “Turnt” Up featuring Dizzy Wright to drop all month and the time has come. Take a look at this fun and dope video the two MC’s put together earlier some weeks back. A few weeks ago I linked up with Cloud Penz, Chris Webby, and Dizzy Wright in Glendale, to Gardena, and back to Long Beach to help shoot this behind the scenes footage with the SkeeTV crew.
